10/3 - RIT v. Wilfrid Laurier and an apology

Yesterday was a long day for me. I had to work the Crew's team for the headshots early in the morning. Then I had to run over to the RIT Campus to shoot the exhibition game between RIT and Wilfrid Laurier. It was RIT's first appearance since their magical run to the Frozen Four in the spring.

The game was supposed to start at 3:05, but it got delayed for a hour and half because Wilfrid Laurier got stuck at the customs (they're from Canada). So I had to wait around at the ice rink. I did whatever I could to keep busy.

Anyway, the game start finally came and we got the win, 3-1. RIT scored two goals in the second period from Chris Haltigin and Jeff Smith. Adam Hartley added an insurance goal in the third period.

Junior defeseman Chris Haltigin fires the puck for the first goal of the game in the second period.

The corner crew celebrates the first goal of the game by Junior defenseman Chris Haltigin in the second period.

Sophomore forward celebrates his goal with Junior forward Cameron Burt in the second period.

The RIT Men Hockey team shares the 3-1 victory with each other post-game.

There it is. My first post in a while.

I want to apologize to those who has been checking my blog daily to see if I have made any new post recently. To be honest with you, I'm a little surprised myself that I haven't posted much recently with all of the photo work I would be doing in Photojournalism.

Photojournalism is going pretty great for me. I thought it would be a lot of work, but oddly, it's a lot less than I thought it would be.

But it will not stop me from taking photos of different things. And when I do, I'll post them up on here or on facebook.

Thank you for your patience! Again, I apologize for those who keep a close eye on my blog.
