9/20 - Red Wings Marketing Opportunties

Last week, I got offered the opportunity to design a brochure cover for the Rochester Red Wings for their Marketing Opportunities brochure. The brochure has all kinds of different information about the Red Wings and on how the people can get a job with the Red Wings' front office. So here's the cover that I designed for them. I thought it turned out pretty nice.

9/19 - RIT Volleyball Invitational

The RIT Volleyball team hosted a tournament over the past weekend in Clark Gym in Rochester, New York. The Tigers ended up in third place, going 2-1 in the first round robin. They then defeated the University of Rochester (UR) for the third place game.

RIT won the first set versus UR, 25-18, before the Yellowjackets rallied to win the second set. Then RIT pulled away by winning their next two sets, 25-13 and 25-17, respectively.

In the match-up between RIT and UR, Senior Jessica Schaeffer carried the Tigers with 16 kills and 11 digs and was named to the All-Tournament team as the lone Tiger representative. Sophomore Christina Worth tallied 36 assists and six kills. Sophomore Rebecca Moore added 10 kills, while Sophomore Katie Cooper helped the Tigers with nine more kills.

9/17 - Volleyball Portraits

So for my second assignment for my Photojournalism, I'm required to take at least three different environmental portraits at three different locations. For my first scene, I used volleyball as the subject for my images. If you're up to it, you can help me decide which one is the best of the five and I'll turn it in.

Otherwise, you can leave some feedbacks on my facebook if you're up for it.

9/15 - The 7-oh-Niner

The 7-oh-niner is our nickname for the apartment where we are living in right now. Apartment #709 at Park Point @ RIT. So far, it's a great place to live. It's close to everything and the best part? It's "off-campus" from RIT so we don't have to live by RIT's rules!

So here's two pictures of the apartment where both Drew and I worked on a couple days ago. Check it out!

9/15 - The People of RIT

For my first assignment for Photojournalism class, I was supposed to go out and shoot my "life" for one week. That means that I could shoot anything I wanted to: my room, my bike, my friends, my classes, whatever involved in my life. So for part of this assignment, I decided to shoot some of my closest friends. My goal was to capture them in their natural mode, not posed. So here's six of my closest friends that I had the opportunity to shoot!

Drew Warren, a second-year New Media Marketing student (and my roommate), puts down rope lights in the kitchen in our apartment.

Joshuah Upton, a fourth-year Mechincal Engineering Technology student, is caught off-guard as I took his picture.

Michael Raffanti, a third-year Technical Communications student, works on his laptop as he preps for his next class.

Stephanie (Stella) Nogueras, a third-year Psychology student, has a laugh while her boyfriend does something stupid in the kitchen.

Daniel Durant, a third-year Applied Computer Technology student, smiles as he plays Modern Warfare 2 on his xBox 360 console.

9/3 - RIT Men Soccer Opens Season with Win
