I never thought I'd hear these words in the same sentence.
Ever.
During the 2014 season, it was a privilege to shoot one of the best hitters of all time and a potential Hall-of-Famer this summer with the Iowa Cubs.
When I first saw him at a press conference, I wasn't really star struck at all. I just saw him as another player that comes through Iowa. It's Triple-A. There always will be a revolving door of players coming and going. Also, before his first game when he was warming up, I thought nothing of it.
But the moment that I'll probably never forget is when he finally stepped up to the plate for his first at-bat at Principal Park, that's when I got the goosebumps.
Oh my gosh, I'm actually photographing MANNY RAMIREZ.
